Community to us means creating space for others to feel a sense of belonging, to garner mutual support, and to deepen interpersonal connections to the people around you. In founding our nonprofits, community was the basis for our desire to serve the youth in our respective cities.

Mental Skills and Movement Workshop.

Deserae and I have curated an event for exercisers, athletes, and performers of all backgrounds, focusing on the importance of pairing the cognitive side of training with the physical demands of training, competing, and performing.

All proceeds benefit The Harriett Wright-French Foundation and Three Deserts Collective, supporting expanded access and engagement for youth in grades K–12. Our mission is to ensure children of all backgrounds have access to scholarships, essential supplies, and resources that empower them in academic and athletic pursuits.

Community is an invaluable part of our experience in this world, allowing us to contribute to something that is greater than ourselves. The communities we create within our own lives allow us to foster a sense of belonging, share resources and ideas, and provide opportunities for growth and connection.
